Nice. Not sure about the mask though......lol.
ORANGE POWER to the rescue ….
Those that follow my insanity know full well the boundaries of when and where and how far I might go just to ketch a crappie .That said , keep in mind I will try to ketch em when and where I have time no matter the conditions .
So I call my bud in the middle of a real big ole cold front storm with the rain just a coming and tell him I am about to be on the water ! He is like bro really ? and I am like yeppers we shall see what we shall see , I got a surprise for ya so be ready because "if" I can ketch em in the rain I will most certainly send you a few photos .
I put on my poncho and grabbed my gear and headed off in the mud with a few jigs and a twinkle in my eye ...of course the twinkle was rain drops but none the less I had twinkles in my eyes ….
Down the slippery slope I went and dropped my jig in said waters between the rain drops . The amounts of rainfall varied a lot and sometimes it poured buckets and sometimes just a trickle .
None the less I let the POWER of ORANGE do its thing and for sure KABOOM rained down on them crappie lips in da rain …..
Halloween is near and so is KABOOM and to be sure I have a few other masks in my closet ..
so as it was once said ….Lets get this party STARTED …..
a foot off the bottom is where the fish went in the storm and hammering the jig is how it went . Water depth was about 14 at the 2 spots I hit and the fish hit like a passing train on the takes .
hope you enjoy the photos and read
and for sure stay tuned yawl …..

Now THAT is some kind of strange indeed! The outfit that is. Nice catch!

The mask is a big improvement. Please wear it for all future pictures.
A welder's mask, beekeeper's hat, or deep sea diving helmet would also be acceptable.

Dang! If I saw you on the lake, in the rain, wearing that mask.......let’s just say my right hand would be near my own kaboom! Well done!

Excellent! You look better with the mask on!
