    Opal.

What are some of the rain totals? I don't think they've gotten anywhere near the amounts that were projected prior to the storm. I know some areas were predicted to get over 40" of rain. I have not heard of anything near that. Not even half of that.

dont know the location but one area was at 37 inches this morning but its still raining. most rivers and creeks don't crest till next week late. the thing hasn't moved 60 miles in three days. i remember storms coming on shore going back out and making another landfall. dont remember one just crawling along. one of the weather channel guys said at one time it was going slower than average human foot speed

Isn’t most of the 40” rainfall more towards Wilmington? I know we are expecting around 10” here where I live.

Horrible situation. Our prayers are with the folks down south for sure. God Bless and know that things will eventually get better.

I know we dodged a bullet in Halifax county NC. I've only had 4" of rain since Thursday. My prayers are with the folks south of me. I think for the most part Kerr and Gaston lakes will be ok so far as fishing goes. We haven't been so lucky in past storms.
