First couple of times I tried it, I had my son with me. I put him in the boat before unloading. Ended up he didn't have to do anything because everything worked as it should, but I sure wanted some backup just in case.

Exactly why I installed power poles...Will never have another boat without them...So useful in many ways...

I unload as normal, tied off of course. Put terrova down. Untie and use remote to move boat and spot lock. Go put up trailer. Come back and remote boat to me and deeper dock and head off fishing.

I’m now on my 2nd Ulterra.....the gen 2 model. I had nearly a 40 year career in the missile....radar......computer field. Things have advanced a long way....but electronics still fail......when you least expect it. It makes for a nice commercial to do that but I don’t think we hear from the ones who have done it and lost their boat and had to get someone to go get it. Call me chicken...whatever....I will just continue to beach it and tie off.

    Regards

What model has the deploy with the remote option. Do all ulterra models do that.

IMO, I paid for all that technology, I might as well use it to it's fullest extent.
