Upgraded the tent.

Those that know me, know I have been tent camping for 50 years.
For a variety of reasons it was time to upgrade the tent. Took me two years of research to find the right one.

We ended up with a KZ 231RK Sportsmen 5th wheel camper. Perfect couples camper for the wife and I. Plus has room for the grandkids when they come. The camper is designed with the Sportsmen in mind. Its short enough I can tow my boat behind it and be legal in Illinois (60'). Plus has a heated under belly for those cold season deer camps and early spring and late fall fishing trips. We got the upgraded fridge (10 cu ft), upgraded a/c 15,000 btu, and upgraded furnace 30,000 btu.

Can anyone advise what states it is legal to pull a rig like this. I have been told it is not legal in NC and several other southern states. Even get different answers from the DOT folks. Anyone that is traveling with this setup care to comment???
