I want to create a poll and find out what everyone primarily likes to fish for crappie with. But before I can create that poll I need to identify the lures to include in that poll. So I'm gonna throw out what I think first, and please add anything I might be missing. Once we have a list, I'll put up the poll and see what everyone's favorite is. I do not want "brand names", just generic names of lures.
Plain Hook and Minnow
Hair Jig (I like to just say fuzzy jig cause it may or may not be hair)
Plastic Grub/Minnow
Plastic Tube Bait
Plastic Curly Tail
Plastic Paddle Tail
Horse Head Willow Blade
Horse Head Colorado Blade
Beetle Spin
Deep Diving Crank Bait
Shallow running Crank Bait
And I know minners could be added to most jigs, but so can scent and such, so we're really only talking Lures, not adjuncts. Except in the case of the plain old minner/hook option above.
Let me know what I am missing.

Whatever you decide ... please ... in the name of all that is good and holy, put a time limit on the poll.
Otherwise, someone will vote and bump it in 2067 when I'm too old to fish anymore.

I think I would tweak the "Beetle Spin" listing to something like : spinnerbait style rigs or Beetle Spin/Spinnerbait, because there are mini sized spinnerbaits that are not "Beetle Spin" type rigs.
And you may want to add "Plastic Carrot shaped grub" .... and add "Plastic Boot Tail grub" to distinguish between the shapes of plastics commonly called "paddle tail" (shaped like the end of a paddle) & those shaped like a "boot".
And how about "Plastic Critter" ... which would include things like crawdad shaped plastics, cricket & other bug shaped plastics.

Split tails, like Crappie Magnet or Minner Minders.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Instead of listing all the different materials possible, what about a “ Hand Tied Jig” to cover the bases? I can think of a lot of possibilities to muddy that one up.
