    I've been running 1 for about a year .
Cons : could not find a padlock small enough to use on unit to lock it . Called and spoke with owner of r and r , as I did not want to do anything to void warranty. He was very friendly, he said drill it out to a size needed to padlock . Causes loud vibration at certain speeds (my terrova may be to blame , but I doubt it ) . I camp it together tighter with vise grips when and vibration stops . I need to contact R and R about thus, hopefully they will have a solution.

Pros: made 100 times better than MK47 . You don't have to completely remove thumbscrew in 4 ft rollers to slide motor , like you do with minn Kota . Just pull spring loaded pin . I sold a brand new MK47 for a loss when I find this. Big ole 80 lb , 60 in Terrova slides effortlessly with R and R mount . You can remove motor in about 2 minutes.

Anybody have pictures of one mounted on boat extended and retracted.. Wanting to put my XI5 on my pontoon but need a way to keep from hitting trailer when loading/unloading.
I put a raised platform on my pondtoon to prevent this from happening. Works great for the past 5 years. My pondtoon is shaped a little different than a tube pontoon.

I just keep slamming my MK PD into the trailer when loading and unloading to tear it up so I can have a excuse to buy a new better MK trolling motor and it just won’t break. When I bread down and buy a new trolling motor will get one of these off R&R as you can’t bet the price!

Good feedback on them online.

I tried to find a MinnKota MKA-47, but they discontinued a great mounting bracket for some reason and I'm not paying $250 for one plus shipping from France (not many trolling motors being installed in Paris, apparently).
Well how have you liked it,thinking about ordering one
