"Authorities followed the tip and tracked down two vehicles belonging to the group reported at the lake. One of the vehicles led to Mountain Lake couple, Isouvahn Xayachack, 70, and Chanhthone Phongsim, 60, the Star reported.... Others in the group were contacted and investigated, but no other instances of illegal crappie possession were found. However, Kaew Chakvong, a member of the group, was cited for fishing without a valid license, the Star reported."

i fish quite a bit the whole year and catch quite a few crappie throughout the year. i also coach both of my sons baseball teams and like to save up for end of the year fish frys. most on the team do not fish and this is the one time of the year that they actually eat real fish not some store bought crap. i feed between 100 and 120 people from fish that myself and both boys have caught and dressed and packaged and fryed up.
It’s sad but there are bunch of poacher types out there , some keep unders , some twice the limit , some hit private waters , some keep protected or out of season things and the list goes on .
Messed up world for sure
