Default Two Rod Limit Pulling Cranks

I've been reading all I can on here about pulling cranks and it sounds like something I want to try but the problem is my closest lake only allows 2 rods per person and seeing I fish 95% of the time by myself I was wondering if pulling 2 cranks is pointless or if I should give it a go?

Try it. If it fails to produce that trip, then go back to your traditional style of fishing.

We are only allowed 3 rods per person in Indiana and works just fine. Go for it with 2 rods.

You can stay pretty busy with 2 rods and the right cranks.

Know an old man that fishes the same lake I do a lot. He uses 1 pole pulling crank and catches about as many fish as I do with 4. Several guys on that lake sit up front in small boats with hand control motors and fish 1 pole off each side and do good.

I saw a video clip on here awhile back of a gentleman pulling two cranks on one rod. He made a wire harness/weighted spreader that allowed him separation of the two lures. You could do that on each rod with different color of cranks till you dialed in the correct color combination, assuming your state laws allow multiple baits on one rod.

Go for it! In inland Waters in Minnesota we can only use 1 rod with 1 bait open water fishing.
