Default Another good video by Richard Gene...

I especially like what he says at the very end.

Keep it clean for tomorrow, and for future generations.

    His last part speaks volumes

We all need to do our part, even if we did not make the mess we can help by picking up what other slobs leave behind.

It is sad for sure to hit public spots and see the what the hogs do to them . I hit a high number of public access locations and see it all .....
Lots of spots have become no access due in a large part in many cases because of the trashing of the area and lack of respect for the environment with off road vehicles and the etc etc etc ....
Respect the environment as he says for ourselves and future generations to enjoy
Leave only your tracks on the bank .....

Here's another good one from Richard I thought I'd share. He sauces it up about 7:50 into the video.

I also agree with his message. I was raised in a Scouting family, and those lessons have stayed with me through the years. The mantra I grew up with was” Leave it cleaner than you found it.” Many times we carried out trash found at a campsite when we arrived. In our backpacks. No longer involved in Scouts, I still have a cooler in my boat that is my trash can. I’m not perfect and don’t pick up every time, but more often than not I’m scooping someone else’s trash. In recent years I have been given access to private property that has been denied to most everyone else. I have always told the owners that I would take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints. Live up to that and you too can be welcome at some very special places. Good of Richard Gene to bring it up and reach so many with the message.

I, too, support Richard Gene in his quest. When I joined CDC earlier this year, one of the rules was that one would leave a fishing site cleaner than he found it. Years ago, I belonged to the Ohio Smallmouth Alliance and we did numerous river cleanups. It was hard work and well worth it.
