    Default DOUBLE JIG LOOP KNOTS

When you tie double jig rigs with loop knots how long do you make top loop knot to keep jig off main line?
I am keeping jigsapart on main line about 12 to 14 inches
    Thanks

When I do this technique I prefer about four inches.

Does anyone tie a overhand knot in the 4 or 5 in loop?

I have about 2 inches off main line. Will definitely lengthen it

I had mine at five inches and moved them to two and a half. Less problems at the net. The side puller guides tie their's
against the main line. I'm not sure it makes a lot of difference long term.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

If I understand the question this is how I rig mine . I tie one double loop knot about 12 inches above the bottom jig with zero leader on the top jig , I find that any lead on the top jig makes for a line wrap issue on the top jig

    I try to have 4 to 5 " loop with a fas-knot.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

OK good day on the local lake, no only one keeper and a dozen lil'ns so release on the keeper at the boat ramp
nice to see em swim away. i spider rigged 8 long rods with single jigs and pulled 4 7'6" rods with double jigs
WHAT A MESS Jigs sticking out every where with twisted knotted line in between. HAHA, so all of a sudden i am a fan of pulling/pushing jigs in single file now for vertical jigging I could see double jigs. I may attempt it agin later but as for now the brick wall is hard and the wet paint is wet
I have still experimenting on loop knots, and have 2 different ways.
