These guys get it done wherever and are great fishermen . I am kind of like a golfer that plays one coarse . Dang good on some lakes but struggle on others . I can't run with the big dogs but I like fishing on my porch. Like most things there are those that want things to happen, those that make things happen and those that wonder what to he-- just happened .

well wrote ketchn. I'm in the boat that says if it's legal who am I to judge.
Now I generally have 1 or 2 poles with me. Minners on at least one of them(again generally speaking). The second is usually rigged with a jig when I go to move and trolled behind. And Retied with a minner or just throw the jig under a float when j get to my area to fish. No electronics for me.
I also fish private ponds as well as public.

Theres people that catch alot more fish than my gene.Mr gene dont have all the carp like our area does.Ask alot of the pros that fished last weekends american crappie trail tourny about that part of the lake.I would love to see someonecome from a state where they catch fish pitching a jig from the bank,kylake paris tn area it would be tough.Im not saying it cant be done,just super tough.

No disrespect to ole Richard but folks go all crazy bout him and Elmo like they're pulling 17.599lbers out of that lake that you don't ever see another boat on.... not sayin noone else fish them but I'd like to see ole Richard come to a real public lake that gets pressure and put together a successful catchn vid....
Heck ole Bill Dance can catch 5+ lbers on every cast on his privately stocked ponds that he records his shows on.... put him on a public lake and watch how his shows really show the struggles everyone else has of putting big fish in the boat....

Alright guys.....Lets not dwell on what one thinks is right... what one thinks is wrong... what should be...what ought to be...what could have been...argue opinions etc etc....We are all crappie fishermen no matter what the legal method.
