Default Question on LED exterior lighting

I have noticed while on the water at night some boats running green led lights on the outside of the hull. Would anyone know what they are called? I thought they were the LED strip lights but they seem larger. I was interested in possibly putting some on my boat that I could activate by switch and would be a lot easier than running cords through out the boat with the submersible traditional crappie lights which would also create less of a tripping hazard.

I've seen several pontoons And a few bass boats with them. They are super bright, seems like the way to go . It would help attract bait and help to see your rod tips. I was just trying to figure out what kind of voltage it is was whether it was 12/24 or possibly running 120 volt from an inverter.

May need to explore different options if those lights are that price for 20in. it would take several to go down both sides of my boat which would be a total length of around 30 feet. I just like the idea of being able to turn the lights on when needed and not have a bunch of cords laying in the floor of the boat at night.
