Default Who Says It Can't Get Better /Pics

As the old saying goes It can't get better. Guess what it does. Two Hundred and eight this morning. Not all slabs but a heck of alot where. Some pushing the 16 inch and a lot of 15's. Many 12- 14. As most times all released. It was a cool glass calm morning. The reflection on the water was a sight to see. I like to try things differant. Ice fishing I use a ripping rap to entice the nice ones. Today i tied one on my slip bobber rod. Guess what it worked.Name: IMG_0019.jpg

Awesome! Love the picture with the reflection of the sky. How did you work that "Rippin' Rap" blade bait under the bobber? I know blade baits can work with crappie, I've just never tried it - yet - but you can bet I will !

I can't even imagine catching 208 fish! It'd be like shooting 208 doves. Would I get bored? Would I run out of tackle? Would my arms cramp or my thumb get so raw that I couldn't hold another fish?

That is amazing. Good stuff. I never did consider visiting Maine, especially for the crappie!

That rippin rap and float looks like a great set up. Were these crappie still out deep (pre-spawn)?
