    I think he is asking how wide of a deck does he need for a side kick to fit?

    Depends on how wide of a seat you go with, but they will get very narrow and can angle forward or backwards to accommodate deck size. Adjustability is almost infinite as long as you're not covering hatches that need to be accessed.

    Used my sidekicks a time or two on my 1652 jon boat, front deck was 55 inches wide across the center of the seat base. The millennium at it's narrowest setting is 30 1/2" wide from center to center. It was tight and had too swing outsides the gunnels to get in our out, or cross over the frame tubing in the middle.
