    Default Best B'n'm rod

What in your opinon is the best B'n'm rod? Im looking for a good B'n'm rod that holds a small baitcaster that will be good for jigging and also for throwing bobbers from the bank.

I don't know about using a mini/small baitcast reel ... but, for both of those purposes I'd probably go for the 9' Tenn Handle FnF rod. Plenty of length to get the jig out away from you when jigging, and the guides are big enough to handle most all of the bobber stops one might use when casting slipfloats from the bank. It's also long enough to make casting a fixed bobber fairly easy (set at depths of 1-10ft), plus long enough to take up a lot more slack line on the hookset, than shorter rods. That equates to better/stronger hooking power at a distance.
While you would likely do better, and fish more easily using a spinning reel on this rod ... a baitcast reel "can" be used. You just have to realize that the guides are placed according to the correct bend of the blank, and going against that could result in a damaged rod.

I have the 7' and the 9' SHSS rods and they'll certainly do the job for you.

Not a lot of dealings with all b/m rods so I am limited as far as help . The Sam Heaton series is never a bad choice and the Roger Gant "Difference " rod is what I use for float fishing and it would be fine for jigging .
