Here in Florida the Black Crappie seem to like smaller baits. What I do is cut the tail square just behind the hook. but I leave the mylar longer. I spray these with Slab Sauce, no minners. Shinee Hinee has been a favorite of mine a couple of years now. The one you show and the silver (looks like a minner) are my best colors. Like the other guy said the white bass also love them.

I have several in all the colors and have great success with them. they have a pro model that has red hooks. I like the pink head and blk and chrt the best.
