I would love to meet ED. Talk to him on the phone for 5 minutes, feel like you have known him forever.

I can guarantee you Mr. Ed will not run out of a chew. Every time I go to his house i always allow one hour of talk time , but I only went there meaning to stay 5 minutes. Best rods I ever used , and by the way Ed is a GODLY man and as honest a man I ever met. I'm glad I can say that ED is a true friend of mine and he will help you anyway he can.

I've ordered rods from Ed for years and recommended them to tons of folks. I have absolutely never heard a bad thing about him or his business practices. He has listened to my suggestions concerning what we out here in the real world need for our different styles of fishing and now offers many different weights of rods in several different lengths.

I've tried to get him to become a member here but apparently at some time in the past somebody unfairly(in his opinion) blasted his products here. I can understand somebody feeling that way. He is one of the few non-sponsors here whom I will go to first for what I need in poles and rods.

I talked to Ed a few days back, you can tell when you have someone on the phone who is going to help you. I am struggling with going 12' or 14'. I am only looking for two poles to start out and the 12' will fit in boat pretty good, but the 14' will need to hang over transom for transport. Probably not a big deal but everyone seems to be buying the 14'

If your going to spider rig get the 14's if you feel comfortable using that length of rod. As long as the tip of the rod doesn't exceed the back of the motor to far you should be fine transporting them. Imo

X2. I’m using 16’ rods and they come just barely to the back of the motor in the transport racks and have worked fine so far.

PM me your address and I'll get your decals. The man makes a minor mistake and you have to bring it up TWICE in a thread? Did you contact him and remind him? It's not like he doesn't have other things on his mind.

Did you double check your rod tube? I just talked to Ed and he said it's not like him to forget and there are times the decals stick to the inside of the rod tube. Regardless, I'll have your decals in a couple of days and will get them to you.

Yes I checked the tube I'm just razzing him, I now have 8 of eds poles and reels and love them. The main reason I wanted them besides advertising a good product, is to rub it in to a friend who is sponsored by another crappie pole co. Trust me no hard feelings.
