CDC app stopped posting my pics, same phone, can post FB or Text pics frustrating

Not the poster you quoted Ed but even with my phone camera set to the smallest setting it has, 4.7m 2160x2160 the pictures are still slightly too large to post. The app only allows 878mb and at smallest setting most of my photos are around 900mb. The only way I can post pics at the moment is using a third party resizing app and images end up blurry. This also leads to duplicate photos on the phone.

Another issue is I used to be able to e-mail myself sonar screenshots or take screen captures from my phone and post them with the app and now it kicks all of them out as the wrong file type. Makes no sense to me because it let me do it before with the app.

Tried taking two pictures of my desktop of your picture with my phone on smallest setting, 2160x2160, both came in at around 2000mb that time. Way too large to allow me to post directly as it stands now.

You can see just before the 7.1.4 update I posted this screenshot with the app in post #4 of a thread in the electronics forum. Will not work now.
