Take the moon caps off or you'll be watching them roll down the highway.

I know most people have had them come off but mine are still on even with hours of the greatest roads in the country Indiana (NOT) they are terrible also been traveling through a lot of bad construction areas and caps are still on. I got my boat May 6th I wonder if they may have made them fit better than the first boats. I took mine off when I first got it just to check the grease and all, had a heck of time getting them off.

I just took my caps off. Was hosing off the boat/trailer and they were wiggling every time the water hit them

I can't say 17 years, yet, but my 2015 175 Pro TF never leaks a drop and everything works great. Very pleased with it and will tell anyone best money I have ever spent, especially compared to my old boat that would be finicky about starting on occasion. Wish I had done at least 10 years back instead of waiting.
