That is exactly the hull used. I had very bad experience with my tracker and vowed id never own another today I put a deposit down on the heritage. Fully welded so should be no leaks I love the seats nice and plush like the carpet color too. so I hope I like it it is the last I plan to buy in my lifetime.

Anyone know how of long of a run they are going to do for the Heritage. I have heard they are limiting them to 2500 units. I then heard they are taking orders up til March 31st. I find these both hard to believe since they are working 3 shifts 24hrs a door cranking these boats out. These boats have greatly exceeded expectations. I'm going to Bass Pro tomorrow to take a look see.

I have a 1989 with a Mariner 40. Bought it used for $3500. Have had it for five years and love it for what I need. It’s all welded with no issue. I added tilt and upped the trolling motor to a 65 lb thrust. Now that I am mainly crappie fishing I do wish it was wider so if me and a buddy go we could both fish off of the front. Also wish it had more than a six gallon tank. I replaced the middle floor board (due to my stupidity letting water sit on the boat with the plug still installed) but all-in-all , I love mine.

All welded doesn't necessarily mean no leaks. Welds crack just as easily as rivets leak, especially on thin aluminum. Personally, I will never own another boat with wood of any kind in it, including the new composite stuff.

Congrats on the new boat, OP. Hopefully it will serve you well.

You know, the funny thing is that a brand can have a following (both good or bad) and both people are actually right. Here in Michigan, we specifically talk about the Deep V market. For that, Tracker tends to have a bad reputation or name. That being said, those of use in the North forget about the Mod V market, John market, and the V hull market that many of our brothern to the south utilize. After looking at a lot of these posts from people that own and are happy with those boats, I started wondering what I was missing. Than it hit me. We are talking about completely different boats from the same company. Not the name!

Another trend I noticed is that a lot of people were specifically speaking about how happy they are with there "older" boats. Does that mean the older ones are built better? I don't know.

Last night I took a look at the Heritage that specifically brought people to this forum. Just based on the photos, the explaination, and the price, if someone was in the market for this style of boat, I would say that it is one heck of a deal! Not saying it is a great boat, a bad boat, or indifferent. Just specifically looking at what you are getting for the money. This might just be the purchase of the year of decade for this company! Good find and good purchase.

FYI: Cabelas was offering a new cover along with a gift card. Both total over 1k of extra value for the purchase of the boat.

I'm guessing this is hitting the cheaper newer used boat market pretty hard. It would be hard to justify paying $8k for a 10 year old boat with similar hardware with no warranty. The local BPS has a "not for sale" sign on the floor model. I'm surprised Cabela's hasn't hung a similar sign on theirs.

For the price, it's a good value. I work for BPS in Kodak, TN. Can tell you they're flying off the shelf....we can't keep up with the orders. Right now we're quoting August deliveries.

All the dealers here have 1 on floor. None are for sale. Display model until orders are stopped.

Was at BP yesterday, checked in on boat delivery still no word when it would be in. Was told anyone ordering one now is being told end of August for delivery. I thought only 2500 were to be made? But was told they have orders for over 25,000 right now.... that’s a lot of boats. Hope mine gets here soon.

Just a FYI, they have stop taking orders for the Heritage. They expect all orders to be filled by 12/18. Who will be the next boat manufacturer to follow suit.
