Default Life Jacket for Really Big Man Recommendation?

Does anyone know of a company that custom makes life jackets or makes them for extra extra large people? I carry the plain orange cheap ones on the boat but after a close call I want to get a better one to wear while the boat is moving.

Paul has an inflatable from Academy. It fits him well and he's 6'6" 300 lbs.

I am also bigger'n some at 5'9" & 245# and after I got my first inflatable I will never go back to a foam vest. I tell the story about the first time I used my inflatable I loaded the boat on the trailer and got all the way home before I realized I still had it on.

I'd go inflatable but MAKE SURE you check the pounds of buoyancy before you buy. A Mustang 38 (38 lbs of buoyancy) will fit a chest up to 56" and there is an extension for the belt if that's not big enough. Cabelas or Bass Pro has one that's 40lbs.

I have the Mustang, very comfortable. 5'-9" 260 lbs. At 75, my theory is that I will need it when I fall out .....not if I fall out! Be safe....

I'm 6'4", 300lbs and just bought a 4xl from Bass Pro and it fits me well.

If you look at the other life vest thread it is the one pictured at the bottom offered in blue or red. I tried on a few of them and liked this one the best because it did not have the collar that rubbed on the back of my neck, seemed like that would get really hot in the summer.
