Default Need help with new terrova

How to put transducer on front of boat. I ran it down the groove in my old terrova. This new one has a steel slide in the groove. First what is the slide and then how do I put my xducer up front on trolling motor???

I goofed on the spelling, cornfieldcrappiegear should be 1 word. I noticed that you caught that I left out the D.

That new piece installed on there is called lift assist. Supposed to help you retrieve the motor. I know some who have removed that to run their cable. To me retrieving the terrova it's not really needed. And I'm not in the best shape.
