I did it with crappie in cornmeal just like deep frying. It turned out just ok , you can not beat deep frying in peanut oil

We bought the Gourmia for around $30 yesterday. Brushed some vegetable oil on 4 large crappie filets. dipped in unseasoned breadcrumbs. Cooked 12 minutes at 400 degrees. They were great! Although next time I would try a minute or two longer. Much less mess for cleanup than our deep fryer and much healthier. I am sold and more importantly so is my wife! Because we already have an InstaPot we were no interested in a higher-end Air Fryer. So this has worked out great thus far.
