David, Vicki just spent MY Christmas gift card from our son for a Go WISE USA 3.7qt 7-in-1 air fryer on Amazon for about $120. She never buys anything without reading dozens of reviews beforehand. Came with big accessory set.

Here is tonite’s results air frying crappie. First batch was cooked at 12 minutes at 360 degrees. 2nd batch was cooked at 11 minutes at 360. And you do not flip them over. Also, they wife is a cheese hound with 1 minute left to cook, the fillets were sprinkled with the jars of shredded Parmesan/Romano. The bright yellow fillets were coated with Zatarains mix and the brown colored batch was from a following recipe that we use to bake crappies in the oven that everybody uses that is on the forum.

the brown ones were mixed as such.
1 cup of regular bread crumbs
    1/4 teaspoon of thyme
1/3 cup of Parmesan fine ground cheese

both the Zatarain’s (1 cup of mix) and above mix, I added in a bowl each on top of each mix, each, 4 tablespoons of olive oil to each mix. You can use veg oil if you want. Mix each up to where it’s crumbs. If you get clumps in it, use a fork to mash the clumps while you mix the oil to your mix. In a bowl, beat couple of eggs with a whisk to make your egg wash. Then take your fillets and dip into egg wash and let excess run off. Your mix is placed in a gal ziplock bag and you shake fillet in mix in plastic bag. PreHeat your air fryer 3 minutes at 360. Then place fillets in air fryer as shown in first picks. Cook for 11 minutes and if you want! Check them after 10 minutes if you want alittle more moist. A minute before they were done, I sprinkled the shredded cheese on top. Some of this will blow off. No biggie or you can leave the cheese off. These turned out very well and wife said it was a keeper. I will experiment more. Remember, do not flip, just let them cook as you laid them in the pan. You can use any mix to make this work.

The wife’s nephew last nite, cooked crappies with the recipe for baking with Parmesan cheese and ate them all gone, then cook catfish in the air fryer with this same recipe and gobbled them all up so this is a very good working recipe if you guys want to try it out sometime. Enjoy.

your going to like it. My wife’s nephew ordered his 3rd one after cooking fish so he can use 3 at a time. He is a heck of a cook tho and has a catering service on the side. Every time the wife or I try something new, we let him know and it sucks him in alittle deeper. Just for the heck of it, some time google frying this or that with a air fryer on the computer and you will come up with a million ways to cook everything imagiable with it. We haven’t used the electric range/oven much at all since getting ours and there is way less cleanup or mess. And we have cut way down on using veg/olive oil as well. Also, be sure and write down how you use it for this and that to keep a recipe catalogue on the way and things you cook with it for reference to fall back on.

We have a cheap version. Unless you get a large air fryer for the family, otherwise the size of the air dryer is right for both of us It is a very important thing for us. ]. But this is all about a healthy diet. Of course, eat less fat when cooking, and how much fat will be produced by eating sausages. From baking in the oven to not frying to deep frying, potato chips are good.
