    I meant to say fathead minnows not mud minnows! My bad! If you don’t want to put bass in the pond, throw a few channel cats as they eat any fish as a predator. I don’t think you can Net enough little blue gill to hurt it any as they are quick swimmers and hide anywhere. I also agree with CrappiePappy on the hybrid crappie. Unless their are sterile, they will reproduce and take over a small pond and you will end up with nothing but small crappie especially with no other predatory fish like bass or channels to balance the food chain out. Good luck, but chat with a good biologist over a business and your going to maybe get a different but objective view and opinion.
