ok thanks - I am deliberating if I should get the 4 pole holder. Not much more money and more versatility. We can only fish with 3 poles but I think the 4 holder would give more options.

For the small difference in price, its better to have it and not need I than the other way around. These holders are awesome!!!!

I would also get some extra bases. That way you can move your rod holders different spots on boat.

I went with the 4 - starting to look at poles. Scheels has some 12' Shakespeare fiberglass poles for $30. They also have some Mr. Crappie brand ??
