51 here this morning in south central Indiana, had long John's on and 3 layers this morning with smart wool socks. You can take the layers off if it gets too warm. Crazy weather here for last of May.

Everything said so far works for most folks, but I have more of an issue with stopping the wind from blowing through whatever i have on. A nylon shell, such as rain gear, stops the wind and makes me comfortable with less bulk. Might not be pretty, but I've never been accused of that much anyway.

Had an amazing time! We got there at 2:30am. Fished until 1:00pm Saturday. Too many boats on the water and people coming under the bridge not obeying the IDLE sign....smh. But tight lined minnows and slip corked minnows. When day light came, pink head and monkey milk were the winners. My total was almost 20. His was about 30. Thanks guys for the helpful tips! I over dressed of course haha. But all in all, God is Great! Have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day tomorrow. Be careful ... lots of drunk drivers. Have a good day.
