Default It ain't over until it's over

Got out for a two hour tour yesterday. Water temps was 69-71. Fished submerged brush in 15-25 FOW. We caught a bunch of fish, some just undersized and some pretty good ones. We fished a couple of coves and even the main channel, and caught fish in all areas. Of the six fish I cleaned, five were egg laden females. I always feel guilty when I fillet one with eggs this time of year, but it helps my learning curve, and they still taste good. Actually, the only fish we kept were hooked deep, so that helps my guilt! I have learned more this spring that at any other time about this sport. Getting better with my electronics, and not a single minnow has been sacrificed. Name: IMG_0597.jpg
