I know a lot of us are disappointed to hear that news. Loved the show better than any other related show on TV--ever! Enjoyed the way it was presented, just like regular guys out fishing and having fun. Plus you learned a little something if you weren't careful. thanks for all the past episodes. Look forward to YT but will miss it knowing the end has come.

Thank you for many years of great entertainment and information ! I am a faithful watcher and can only hope the show goes on in some way.
As for the spider rigging , slowdown , something I have to remind myself !
.. And now that you have more time come to the Missouri spring camp at Bucksaw May 5-7 ! Thank you !

I'll never say never. It could happen again. I've been overwhelmed by the amount of people wishing the show was still on. 24 episodes a year shot and edited by yourself on several networks just took its toll after 12 years. One of the reasons I didn't post a lot here. Just no time. I really appreciate all you crappie guys watching. I tried to do several crappie shows a year and would've been ok doing all of them crappie. I'll be posting here from time to time and catching up on all you guys are chatting about.

In that water, 1/8 oz roadrunner on bottom with plastic and tip with minnow. Instead of .2-.3 bum it up to .5-.7 if bite is slow. That blade really wakes me up at times in that murky water. Usually run 1/2 oz weight down to 12 ft.

why would you not use the best color on all of them ?

I keep a variety out and if you had your best color on all the poles it's like playing with fire lol. When you get 3 poles going it's hard enough imagine more than that at the same time! You just have to set the hook and put the rod back in the holder and hope he's on there when you get back to him. I'm sure other people may have other methods. This is just how I setup. Most of the time when I rig there only slightly seems to be a favorite color. A lot of times I have seen color not matter much and if the jig goes in front of the fish they will hit it. Obviously this has to do with if the fish decide to bite thats day as well. Plus fishing different colors allows me to experiment with some of the colors in my tackle box that I may not have fished but just had in there.

I really hate hearing that Scott, I enjoyed your show the most for all the Crappie episodes you filmed. Come to Chattanooga sometime and teach us how on the Chick... Enjoy your hiatus...

Scott LOVE your show, especially how you interact with JT on stockton and jeff F on truman, you really come across as couple guys out for a fishing trip rather than producing a show for TV. Thanks so much and come back Shane, I mean Scott.

Agree come to MO spring camp on truman and relax and just have fun with bunch of fans.
