    Default 3 in a boat?

When trolling (pushing rods) what do you all typically do with the 3rd person. I've tried trolling rods off the sides and back just like up front with limited success. Would suspending them from bobbers way behind the boat work?

No first hand info but I have seen that being done. Size of the boat would be a factor maybe.

You could use bobbers off the back but I dont i fish them just like the ones on the front.....we run 8 on the front and 4 on the back. We rig them capps and coleman style.....a half oz. Weight between the two jigs.

Have the third guy take fish off and put in livewell and fetch beer.

Just set up as many rods as you can collectively for the group and each take turns reeling them in as you hook into one. Kind of a round robin style fishing together as a group instead of individually. When one person catches one he gets to re-bait that hook and recast it, then it moves to the next mans turn.

    Tough but doable
And with that, I'll see you on the water...
