I once gained something. Pulling my offshore boat down to Destin for a cobia tournament when ol' smokey flashed those blues behind me. When I pulled over he strolled up and plain asked me if I could explain what had happened. Clueless, I just stared and asked him what in the heck he was talking about. He motioned for me to step down and follow him. When I rounded the back of the boat I had about 50' of power lines and the electrical box off the side of someone's house just dragging along behind me! Turns out when I stopped in Hattiesburg to see an old friend, My T-top picked up a low wire leaving the neighborhood and tore someone's power box off the side of their house and just towed it all on down the line, lol. Blew out my radar and gps and blew the tip off my aluminum gaff that was hanging on the top bar.

I had a seat and a pedestal post fly out somewhere on the interstate. All my stuff gets stored now. That was over $200 mistake and I hope it didn't hit anyone

I had a rod storage bag that I thought I had secured in the boat blow off on the way to the lake. Inside was 4 14' rods with reels. I was stopped at a light with a 18 wheeler next to me. When the light turned green I blasted off leaving the big rig behind. Next thing I knew out goes the storage bag into the lane of the big rig! He never slowed down or nothing I think he shifted into a higher gear as he went by. LOL! CRUSH!! I retrieved the bag to open it up and witnessed a bunch of splenders of fishing rods :{ Two were brand new that never, ever made it to any water. I did salvage two of the reels. Total cost=$250. I don't remember catching any fish that day either.

Get an S2. The net screws off the handle for easy storage.

I was traveling down the interstate to a lake and lost a seat. The semi truck right behind us took care of it, didn't even turn around to pick it up. Also on another trip my brother in law asked to use my net. He was in a diffrent boat. So I tossed it to him, it skipped off his boat into the water. It floated for a few seconds then off to the depths.

I really wish I could have been there when the electrician had to explain to the guy why he had no power.... "well sir, I don't know how to tell you this but...." the sheriff was able to put me in touch with the poor chap but when the city measured my boat on the trailer, they found that my boat was beneath the appropriate height and the wire was hanging lower than the code allowed.
