War eagle 961 Blackhawk

I am looking at the war eagle Blackhawk and can't make my mind up on a Center console or a side console for Crappie fishing. I would appreciate some input. Also what shaft length would I need on the trolling motor? Thanks for the Help.

I would love to have a Blackhawk! If I was buying, i'd get the CC just because I think it rides better. and you can drive standing up. you will sacrifice a little bit of open floor space, but since you're crappie fishing (not catfishing) I wouldn't think it would be that big of a deal. I have a 60" shaft on my 17 ft War Eagle, but I could have gotten by with a 54" shaft, but the 60" was on sale on Craigslist. Hope this helps.

I would want a boat with a deep & open floor ... and they'd have a PFD on at all times.
