    When I was mounting stuff on my aluminum boat I removed my trolling motor tray and stuck my head in the hole to see how things were layed out under the deck. You can also hold a cell phone in the hole and take some pictures.

    One question do you have a way to lock it in the down position while cruzin down the lake. I'd think it would get the tar beat out of it

    Yeah it has a knob that threads through and locks down and when you swivel it up it has a pin it's still in the trial and error phase may install a spring and a fixed pin like the balzout mounts I will try and get more pics tomorrow
