Ego, for me! Picked it up last year at the Grizzly Jig show in
January. Gonna pick up another one with a rubber net to use
while pulling cranks. Tight Lines - Dave
Ego, Promar, homemade...?
Shoppin around for a new one with about 7 or 8' reach. I see Grizzly has them for around $40 + shipping.

I use a rubber net with a 6-12 feet extendable painters pole I got at Lowes.

Ego 2S. Doesn't take up much room in the boat and it floats.

Thanks. I don't run crank baits, only single vertical jig and maybe a minner once in a super moon. Is rubber net still desired?
And how much weight will that Ego really hold? Gotta cat problem here sometimes.

Mine has held 4-5 pound cats and drum. I have both the rubber and coated mesh. Rubber is heavier and good for cranks. For you I'd go with the coated mesh cause it's lighter and easier to handle by yourself. By the way they won't float. Put about 6 in piece of pool nodded right up at net and tape it tight with electrical tape.

The 2S has a foam coated upper handle. It will float. I laid it in the water beside the boat to see. It was not extended and had the coated mesh, not the rubber netting.
