Love my express 18 ft boat. Rides well and is stable. Advise would be to buy from a local dealer and don't chase a deal as your local dealer is where you will get it serviced. Learned this lesson on my boat purchase.
I enjoy spider rigging and long line trolling.
I started with a G3 Aluminum Boat, when I was on the open lake this boat floated around horribly. I was constantly having to re-position the boat, because the rear end would swing around.
Now I have a 18ft bass boat, too much speed and really not suited for enjoying yourself fishing, way too competitive for me.
Does anyone know if the Xpress Hyperlift Hulls float around real bad or are they pretty steady. Are they pretty steady.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Yep. He's a good man.
Is your boat drifting sitting still or in motion. A tin boat is a lot lighter and not as stable. I think the hyper lift hull will only give you more speed but Bill at big river marine can answer you better.
i have an h18 hyperlift crappie series. the hyperlift only effects the hole shot and getting on step. as for as driftfishing i normally fish big bodies of water and i do fine but i have learned a few things. i use my front livewell and leave the back one empty. unless im on a 3 or 4 day trip i never put all 33 gallons of fuel in the tank. a drift sock and chains will help too. it also performs better with two sitting side by side on the front deck (but i hardly ever have a partner). that being said no metal boat is going to be a stable in wind as a glass boat except maybe for some of the deep v's. the ranger angler series and lund makes a really stable boat as well. all in all i love my boat i have fished toledo bend with it, its been in the gulf, the louisiana marsh, seen just about any conditions out there and it got the job done.
