    According to the USCG you have to have a Six Pack. Kentucky law says you only have to have their license as far as they are concerned. Call the USCG and see what they say. Kentucky Lake is connected to the ocean hence the need for license according to what they tell me. I am due an update so I will get some more info. All the current guides I know have a USCG license. I went through this back and forth with the state and it came down to what USCG said so I got my six pack. Hope you are right!

    I heard the coast guard imposed big fines on several guides recently, I thought at Ky lake, but it might have been Pickwick. Navigable waters do require a six pack. From what I've read anyway.
