Default Berkley C-Series - anyone have experience with these rods?

Was thinking about grabbing some 14 foot rods and found these berkley C-series.They dont seem terribly expensive and they are on a sponsors site. Can anyone tell me some personal experiences with them? Are they light? Did you like them?

I bought one 14' just to try.I used it vertical jigging and it was ok.But I don't think most 14fters are good for that.I would say that it is heavier than a b&m jig pole in 14'.I think the tip is too limber to carry much weight for spider rigging. It has a ton of backbone at the handle.I don't know how you fish but I think it would be hard for me to recommend this pole for a specific type of fishing if you are looking for the perfect pole. That said I caught fish on it and the price was right.

I picked one up and played with it a little at Academy Friday. Agree with Crappie60, mighty lite tip. Might be a good light weight, light bite rigging pole for late winter early spring real slow trolling. Don't think it would carry much weight with any speed to speak of. For the money I would think there are beter poles out there.

I ended up purchasing some 14 foot southern crappie rods instead. I will see how they go.

Your going to like them. I run the 14's. Good lite bite tip but super strong with great backbone.

I use my 14 ft c series pulling cranks and it works great, the light tip lets me see the action of the crank and i know if its running right or is fouled in the line, sure it doubles over when i get a fish on but that dont bother me none
