Love my War Eagle 861 Predator but wish I was the one waiting a few more weeks for your 961 Predator! They're great boats, you'll love it and War Eagle's down stream service is really good.

Never heard of anyone not liking their War Eagle. The frustration of being without a boat would also eat me up were it mine. Having worked in boat production years back I can say that things we never dream of effect production and can wrench the gears. Not making excuses for them in any way. Catch a trip or two with a friend and try to keep your head in the right place, and it will be worth the wait. Best part is, you only have to go through it once and then you fish for years. And answer the questions from folks at the ramps about your"Really Sweet New Boat".

Yeah, I went through the same thing when I bought my Duracraft... Took a month or two longer than promised. Of course, that was back in 1987.....still have the boat and it doesn't leak a drop. 😉

I started down the road of having a boat built over 3 months ago. In my research came across a few stories like yours from several different companies. I wasted 2 months waiting for one company to even give me a price. Then they decided that I should go through one of their dealers to get a boat. Then only to be quoted a price so outrageous it was comical. So I started all over again. This has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had and I can only imagine how frustrated you are that you have waited all this time and are now told you must wait longer. I am preparing myself for this same thing. I have been quoted 8 weeks build time...but I have prepared myself for 12 weeks.

I have been really eyeing a new war eagle. I was told by a dealer that, "you better count on ten to twelve weeks, I don't care what any other dealer tells ya." Sounds like he was spot on. They are great boats, and I think when you get it, it will have all been worth it!

well after 3 and a half months of waiting I get to pick the new 961 Blackhawk up got to check it out yesterday Im ready to put some slime in the livewells

I ordered a new boat from war eagle 8 weeks ago to this day when it was supposed to be here I get a email for my dealer saying your boat will be another 3 to 4 weeks ok how would you feel about this and boat is payed in full motor and trailer sitting at dealer not dealers falt I'm thinking this will be the last boat I order from TEAM WARD hopfully this gets the wright person and I get my new boat before 3 months lol sorry had to vent

Hey don't feel too bad....I ordered mine back in early April and was told 3 weeks originally. It is now July 17 and I do not have boat, however, I am told that it should be here next week. I played the game that you are playing right now. Hope everything works out. I'll keep you posted on getting boat next week. Like you, I do not think it was my dealer....WE has told me that basically they received a huge number of orders and were backed up.
