I have one of the Uncle Henry Bone handle and 2 of the wood handle Rapala's. They hold an edge pretty good. Burned up my old cheap electric knife and replaced it with an American Angler Pro. I hope to get to use it and see how well it works.

I have a Chicago Cutlery folding knife that works well on a smaller fish. I use electric most of the time, so probably don't need to be suggesting anything.

I bought a Cutco fisherman solution knife about 5 yrs ago & have only sharpened it once. I sent it back to them for free sharpening, you just have to pay for shipping.
I own 2 of them now & have cleaned over 200 fish & never had to sharpen it yet, very durable with adjustable blade for around $100. Best knife I've ever used for cleaning any animals

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Russell. been using one for 40 or more years. I get mine at Memphis net and twine. they make a 7 inch and 9 inch. I use the non-stainless. on a side note for the kitchen they make the best paring knife too.
