    Default Lowe vs Triton

Thanks for all the replies comparing 4 strokes vs 2. Really helped me out. Now I am down to picking the boat. I want lot of storage and no wood structure. Lowe Stinger 175 and Triton TX 17 look to meet my needs and I am sure there are others. How do these two brands compare for those of you that have experience or knowledge of them. I have no near-by dealers of these brands to go look.

duracraft and war eagle are the only kind I have owned . three total and I am 59 years young .If I buy another I doubt that a change would be made .If I bought a large boat a f/f would be in the mix as well .

Ranger and Triton aluminum boats are built in the same building. just diff stickers and consoles, and Ranger is $1500 to 2000 higher, Find a Triton Dealer and he can order you a triton in ranger colors, the only thing I have to say is when I got my Triton 1657 panfish in 2014 used from a Triton dealer, it came with a life time hull warranty. Im not sure about the Lowe warranty. something to look into,

Haven't owned any of them, but like the layout in the Triton 18' a guy has where I sometimes fish. Offered to trade him the other woman but he said no. I think he's crazy!

I have the triton 18c and as moose364 said it is the same boat as the ranger. It has good storage and rides well.

I have a stinger 175..i like it ..seems very stable while fishing because of its wide beam..rides like any aluminum in its price range. fishes 2 up front comfortably..large livewells. I havent fished a triton though but im sure they are nice as well.

Best thing to do is sit in both. Have a good walk around dry run. If your lucky some dealers will let you test drive. Or find a couple CDC members near you that have these boats and go for a ride fish them try them out Best of luck to you
