    I've used similar baits with success. Lots of copies of the roadrunner style baits out there.

    i would think road runner and their band of lawyers would be all over these folks

    Funny,I was just reading the thread about the roadrunner patent,and others that copy them.These were right beside roadrunners at the store,I thought I would pick up a couple to see how well they operated.they were .75 cheaper than the two pack roadrunners,so not that much price diff,but enough to undercut roadrunner.

    They are similar but not the same pony head. Besides Northland has been around forever.Im sure they know better.

    Johnson makes a very similar bait as well. The design is too simple for only one company to make. You can also buy that style of bait at bass pro in bulk pretty much.
