    Default Finally got it installed

I picked the transducer apparatus up from Rickie at the c.com gathering in Kentucky last year. I finally got around to mounting my transducer. (Moles come out the hole on a warm day.) I am almost ready. Little more wiring to finish and need to raise my engine a notch or two.

This device looks good and works Jim Dandy.

Billbob says he's on his way, he'll help straighten out that wiring for you.

Do you think you can drive around with the transducer down. I have a tiller steer motor on a 19' boat and i could use one of those for scouting new holes. I have a terrova ordered and a Hummingbird 999 ci si di combo ordered and spyderloc 4 pole holders. I also got some 4 pole seats ordered so they can be moved around. My boat is a mud boat with a Prodrive mud motor. I dont have to worry about running over too much stuff even rocks. I was just curious. Didnt mean to jack your thread. Way nice boat by the way.

I had one of these units on a War Eagle. I "idled" around with the transducer down. I know the lake pretty well up here, so I wasn't worried as bout hitting anything. On the main channels, I would run up 8mph looking at stuff. I would not do this on unknown waters.
