Make sure the cooler does not have the cheap plastic strap-type hinges that will fail before the cooler does...
The molded-in "peg and hole" type hinges will last as long as the cooler does...

CP I have the Coleman extreme 5 day 60 quart. It has worked well for me. Handle on the back makes it pretty easy to get around with and fairly inexpensive. Think cheaper at Wally world than BPS.

Make sure you build a bracket or port to dock it in so it doesn't move around when the boat is underway. The one i have slides on my carpet and i know your toon doesn't, so it may be worse. Just a thought.
If youv seen the stick steer boats, the center seat is also a live well. Might ask a dealer if you can order the seat/livewell and adapt it on your toon

Tom, I use one like the Coleman "ice-cube" for my portable cooler if I need additional space for crappie or panfish. It takes up much less space and is just easier to get around with. A client from FL sent his wife's small buck to me here in KY to mount and didn't want to pay to have the cooler shipped back. That was the 1st time I had seen one. Mine doubles as a spare seat if I'm trolling. You know if it will hold up my oversized butt it is strong.

I prefer two small/medium coolers rather than one large wheeled cooler. Easier to move around. One for icing fish, and the other for drinks and snacks. If I need a livewell for minnows, I get a third cooler. A round gatoraid/construction water cooler (5,7,10 gallon are common), the minnows like a smooth circler flow of water.
I got this one at this price & it's been a good'un!
Academy - Igloo Ice Cube™ 60 qt. Rolling Cooler
takes up very little floor space & keeps ice all day.
