    Default Rainy Day Project

I am in the process of building my swivel mount instrument panel. The instrument panel will swing out of the way when not in use. I finished my YAW gauge. It is a modified voltmeter. I am building a YAW control circuit to control the YAW meter. This gauge will display the relative position of the engine with respect to center of the boat. I can look at the gauge and determine engine position without looking back at the engine.

I needed a tach to help determine the prop I need. All this stuff cost less than a trip to the dealer to tell me what prop I need since they would have to put the boat in the water and tach it out.

Is your YAW gauge similar to tilt/trim gauge??

Sweet setup...this is for the boat with the tiller steer??

Would work well on a stick steer boat also.

Scrapper ... if these gauges are for the new Pondtoon, I'd classify it more as a "Nintendo Steer" boat (or maybe a Hoveround Steer boat) since he steers it with a joystick

The joystick control on the "Pondtoon" is the coolest thing I've ever seen...

Yaw gauge is interesting, wouldn't know how to use it without rudder pedals. Tilt/trim on a horizontal axis?

Would yaw be the same as crabbing an aircraft as is done on landing? It looks to me like a sideways trim guage to show the attitude of the motor, as in it's turned left or right. Cool stuff Tom. Haven't been home much but there's a package coming your way in the near future.
