    Question new battery


    do new trolling batteries need to be charged befor first use? just had to get a new one snd want to make shure that I do everything right. last one lasted alomost 3 years but will nolonger hold a charge.

    Yes and be sure to recharge immediately after every time you use it.

    thanks for the reply,I brought it home and hooked it up just to see and when it started to charge I got worried that I maybe got a bad one I always recharge with in an 1 to 3 our of getting back
