Thanks Wally. I'll give Rick a call tomorrow.
Hey Crappie Anglers I would like to take this time to let everyone know that the first shipment of Solo reels will not let you change right to left hand retrieve !! on The first shipment there was a problem with the mold that wont let you change the handle to one side or the other ! We are well aware of this issue and working very hard to get it fixed in the next few weeks ! If you have a Solo reel that you tried to change the handle over at this time and messed it up trying to do so Please call Rick Collins at 417 881 5397 ! We at Lew's and Mr.Crappie want to help you with any matters you may have so please call and we will answer any issues ! Thanks Wally Marshall

I think it awesome the way y'all stand behind your products and support your customers. Your products will be my choice as I continue to gear-up for crappie.

hey wally, is there anything we can do if we have one of the solo reels that won't swap over and we would like one that will swap over?? I bought two, but I have not tried to swap them to a right hand retrieve. but I feel much more comfortable with a right hand retrieve. just checking. let us know. thanks

Any man can be a father, but it takes a real man to be a DAD!!
I have bought a few and have not even put them on a rod yet, but since I fish open face spinning gear most of the time I think there is no need to change to the other hand. I do have some questions though and not a lot of info on the packaging. It seems three is only a drag and that is the only thing to keep line from pulling out and I am use to anti-reverse reels like Shimano so this I fear will take some getting use to.
Just got off the phone with Rick. He's converting one right now and dropping it in the mail later.
Thanks!
what a stand up guy
