    Default New personal best crappie

I didn't have a scale, but this puppy was just a fraction over 18 inches.

I caught him on Friday from our neighborhood dock on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC. Used a roadrunner jig head with a 1.5" gulp minnow on it, in about 7' of water.

He was released back into the lake, hope I see him again! My son held him for me while I took the picture.

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
