Default closed face spinning reel ?

My wife is not good with a baitcasting reel. What is the best closed faced spining reel you folks know about? All opinions appreciated. Thanks Wes

Are you talking about a spin cast? If so then the Omega is the way to go! I would try a spinning reel first though!

If you are anywhere close to a BPS, Cabelas or one of the other outdoors stores that have a lot of reels on display. Take her there and put some reels on rods and check for fit. Some of the spin cast reels sit to high on modern straight seat casting rods. It puts the button to high for small hands to operate properly thus uncomfortable to use. They work best on the old drop seat casting handles.

You might even want to try a triggerspin

I got one of the Pinnacle triggerspins for shooting docks. It is a smooth little dude and the drag seems smooth for a closed face reel. The balance of the triggerspin and a light 6 ft rod makes it an accurate to cast and skip under docks and tight places.
