Default I tested TEMU fishing products

I ordered 3 things from TEMU just to see what it was all about. Most of the prices are pretty low but some are not.
    My order:
    (1) 20 pc package of 1/8 dropshot weights - 1st impression is positive but have not used yet. The line keeper seems good quality.

    (1) Aluminum multi-purpose fishing pliers - Looks just fine to me. Smooth to open & close.

    (1) 550 yd spool of Fluorocarbon line. - Well, I am not feeling positive about this one. It seems strong enough. It shows no indication of memory. The color of the line is blue. I thought all fluoro was clear. I held it in 8 inches of water. It is just as visible underwater as out of the water. The label on the spool calls it Fluorocarbon. The product description calls it mono. I believe mono is accurate. It may become some bluegill leader for the pond.

Doesn't Flouro sink? I was thinking it does. Test it in the sink and let us know.

Yes it sinks. As to the line being blue that is available in a few brands. I fish a FC line from Varivas in 2.5# test. As a matter of fact its name is Blue Moon. FC is not invisible underwater. It does however refract less light than mono. While we don’t get to see it in line specs all FC lines have a refraction index. The lower the index usually the higher the cost. I have used the Blue Moon in trout waters and caught lots of trout with it. Also caught a bunch of crappie with it. I use it to get a 1 gram jig head down to 23 feet and keep it there. The specific gravity is higher than mono.

    Regards
