I joined the forum in April. Used to crappie fish with my dad as a kid dipping minnows in brush. Got away from crappie fishing when I started working and was just "too busy". Boy did I waste a lot of time. Bought a boat last Feb. and been spider rigging and jigging since then. I am still learning the spider rigging deal and plan to learn how to long line this year. While I still consider myself a novice at "Hi Tech" crappie fishing, age has taught me to learn from my experiences rather than get frustrated or mad when things don't go as planned. We have caught 100's of crappie in that new boat and plan to fish all winter. Its been a fun journey and I look forward to many fun trips to come.

I also am techno-illiterate, but I have a source. My seven-year-old grand daughter showed me how to post a picture, and how to use my smart phone (sort of). The first time she helped me, she said: 'Grandpa, how come you know so little"? Just find a kid, smithlaker.
